Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Immediate Opening in Northern California Location: California
Start Date: June 17, 2024
End Date: August 2, 2024 (Potential for candidate to be an ongoing coverage option for vacations, providers going on leave, etc.)
Locum Tenens Coverage. This opening is for part-time coverage need
Volume: 12 - 15 patients per shift
Credential time frame 60 - 90 days. Temporary privilege available.
Requirements:
- Board certified or truly board eligible
- Active unrestricted California license
- Clean background malpractice and NPDB

- *MUST* have 2 years of inpatient activity to qualify for privileges.

Required Skills: BLS required
Malpractice Insurance: Covered

Job Responsibilities
- Scheduled Clinic Hours + call
- New consults 1 hour time slots. Follow ups 30 minute time slots.
- Call starts Monday AM- Monday AM (7 days a month)
- Mainly cell phone calls after hours at night need to mostly address
- 24 hours call
- Outpatient
Qualifications
- Active unrestricted California license
- Clean background malpractice and NPDB
