We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Hematology/Oncology physician to join a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This is a permanent, outpatient-only opportunity with strong referral support and no current call requirement. New graduates are welcome to apply.

H1B visa sponsorship available. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Position Highlights

  • Outpatient-only practice

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

  • Part-time or full-time options available

  • See up to 20 patients per day

  • Work alongside two Nurse Practitioners

  • Built-in referral network of primary care physicians

Job Summary

The Hematology/Oncology physician will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with hematologic disorders and solid tumor malignancies. The ideal candidate is compassionate, clinically strong, and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered cancer care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose hematologic conditions and malignancies

  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy

  • Manage benign hematologic disorders such as anemia, clotting disorders, and thrombocytopenia

  • Provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up care for patients undergoing treatment

  • Manage treatment-related side effects and complications

  • Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, and primary care providers

  • Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case discussions

  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

  • Stay current with evidence-based oncology guidelines and advancements

Qualifications

  • MD or DO

  • Completion of Internal Medicine residency

  • Completion of Hematology/Oncology fellowship

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology

  • Active New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment

Organization Information

  • Competitive full-time base salary range: $320,000–$350,000 annually
