## Hematologist/Oncologist | Roswell & Carlsbad, NM Southeastern New Mexico — 2 Locations Available ## Position Details * Full-time, permanent position * 4-day work week * Setting: Inpatient and outpatient — multispecialty medical group with four clinics in Southeastern New Mexico * H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available ## Practice Overview Seeking a BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist to join a large, friendly practice serving Southeastern New Mexico: * Diagnose and treat cancer, solid tumors, and benign and malignant blood disorders, inpatient and outpatient * Write and administer chemotherapy orders, perform bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures, review smears, and refer for radiation oncology and surgery as needed * Evaluate oncology emergencies and treatment-related complications, deliver chemo-infusion, and provide consultation to other healthcare professionals on an inpatient basis * Multispecialty medical group of 150+ staff with clinics in Roswell, Carlsbad, and Hobbs * On-site ancillary services including lab and radiology ## Compensation & Benefits * Compensation above the national average plus bonus structure * Complete benefits package * H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available ## Required Qualifications * MD or DO — Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology * Completion of a 3-year Internal Medicine residency and a 3-year Hematology/Oncology fellowship — required * New Mexico medical license or willingness to obtain * H-1B and J-1 visa candidates accepted ## About the Communities – Roswell & Carlsbad, New Mexico * Roswell — high desert city of about 50,000, known for its UFO heritage and the International UFO Museum and Research Center * Carlsbad — southeastern New Mexico city and gateway to Carlsbad Caverns National Park * Moderate four-season climate with exceptional outdoor recreation * Exceptional public and private schools and a state university, in a culturally diverse area * Affordable cost of living with welcoming, tight-knit communities
