This opportunity is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible Gynecologist with 5+ years of clinical and surgical experience who is proficient in conventional open and laparoscopic procedures. Job Responsibilities
• Perform conventional open and laparoscopic, non-robotic gynecologic procedures, including hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian surgery, D&C, and pelvic floor procedures.
• Evaluate and manage conditions including fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, and abnormal uterine bleeding.
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations, informed consent discussions, post-operative care, and surgical follow-up.
• Collaborate with primary care, nursing, anesthesia, surgical teams, and oncology specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Gynecology.
• Active and unrestricted New York medical license.
• Current DEA registration.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical and surgical gynecology experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in open and conventional laparoscopic gynecologic surgery.
• Experience managing a broad range of benign gynecologic conditions.
• Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery fellowship training is a plus.
Working Hours
• Standard outpatient clinic schedule with dedicated surgical scheduling.
• Periodic on-call responsibilities as required.
• Combination of outpatient clinic and hospital/surgical center practice.
Skills
• Expertise in conventional laparoscopic and open surgical techniques.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered bedside manner.
• Ability to manage a busy clinical and surgical workload.
• Strong EMR and documentation skills.
