Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology/Oncology
Job Details:
Outpatient Hematology/Oncology position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 2 to 3 weeks per monthContract length of 34 weeks with 5 x 8-hour shifts per week
Minimal call required, overlapping with scheduled days/nights or agreed upon weekend coverage as needed; currently 9 providers share 24-hour and night call
Patient volume of 15 to 18 patients per day, including 1 to 2 new patients and 2 benign hematology cases daily
Focus on prostate, kidney, bladder, and benign hematology cases
Adult patient population
Support staff includes APPs, pharmacist, and nurses
EMR system: Epic
Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology required
Active North Carolina state license or IMLC eligibility required
DEA and CSR required
Minimum of 2 years of experience required
