Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology
Job Details:
Coverage needed on an ongoing basis, with full-time preferred or a minimum of 2-3 weeks per month consideredMonday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break; overtime applies after a 9-hour workday
Shared call nights and weekends required
Community-based cancer center seeing the majority of hematology and oncology patients
Providers will consult both ambulatory and hospital patients
Cancer Center is equipped with 18 chemotherapy infusion chairs and 2 non-chemo infusion chairs
Radiation oncology services available on-site
Bone marrow biopsies can be completed within the Cancer Center; experience with bone marrow biopsies preferred
Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)
ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
Fellowship training required
