As Southern New Mexico's only NCI-affiliated cancer center, the facility holds ACR and ACOS CoC certifications and features a fully integrated, multidisciplinary cancer program supported by a collaborative and well-resourced team.Opportunity:
Employed - Medical DirectorJob Details:
- Serve as Medical Director within a fully integrated cancer center alongside Hem/Oncs, Rad/Onc, Oncology Pharmacy, and certified oncology RNs
- Consultative role only - no admissions or discharges, which are managed by primary care and hospitalist teams
- See 2-3 new patient consultations per day with a robust established follow-up panel
- Flexible scheduling available - open to full-time or customized part-time arrangements to support work-life balance
- Actively participate in 20-30 ongoing clinical trials, supported by two dedicated research nurses
- Participate in bi-weekly general tumor boards and breast tumor conferences
- Access to the latest treatment options and technologies to support high-quality patient care
