Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gynecologic Oncologist to provide locum coverage at a well-established academic health system in York, Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers a combination of clinic, operating room, and call coverage while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. Temporary privileges are available for providers with a clean credentialing file.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage patients in both the outpatient clinic and hospital setting.
• Perform gynecologic oncology surgical procedures as scheduled.
• Participate in weekday clinic and OR coverage.
• Provide after-hours and weekend call coverage (APPs take first call).
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, residents, and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Document patient encounters using Epic EMR.
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) required.
• DEA registration required.
• Experience in gynecologic oncology surgery and inpatient/outpatient management.
• Clean credentialing history preferred for temporary privileges.
Working Hours
• Clinic: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• OR: Typically 7:00/8:00 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM
• After-Hours Call: Required (APPs take first call)
• Weekend: 24-hour call coverage
• Flexible 7-day block scheduling available.
