Full Time
Permanent Position
Seeking BC/BE Gynecologic Oncologist to join an established regional cancer program in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Position Highlights:
* Join the only full-time Gynecologic Oncology practice between Denver, Colorado and Salt Lake City, Utah
* Established referral base serving Western Colorado and Eastern Utah
* Strong regional demand with patients traveling throughout the region for specialty care
* Immediate opportunity to build surgical volume within a respected and growing oncology program
* Join a collaborative oncology team consisting of:
* 1 Full-Time Gynecologic Oncologist
* 1 Part-Time Gynecologic Oncologist
* 7 Medical Oncology Providers
* 2 Radiation Oncologists
* Well-established referral network supported by hospital-employed primary care providers, women's health specialists, and community physicians throughout the region
* Comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer care environment
* Opportunity to help grow the Gynecologic Oncology program and expand access to specialty care across a large geographic service area
Practice Details:
* High regional demand with limited competition for Gynecologic Oncology services
* Multidisciplinary cancer program with strong collaboration across specialties
* Access to two robotic surgical systems
* Ample robotic surgery capacity with flexibility to build a robotic practice based on physician preferences and volume
* Dedicated support from oncology and women's health providers throughout the organization
Call Schedule:
* Physician takes call for their own patients
* OBGYN physicians cover general OB and GYN call responsibilities
* Long-term goal is to expand to a two-physician Gynecologic Oncology team, allowing shared call coverage between Gynecologic Oncologists
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and manage gynecologic malignancies
* Perform complex gynecologic oncology surgeries
* Utilize robotic-assisted surgical techniques as desired
* Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with Medical and Radiation Oncology
* Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and cancer care initiatives
* Provide outpatient consultation and long-term follow-up care
* Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based oncology care
Qualifications:
* MD or DO
* Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
* Fellowship Training in Gynecologic Oncology
* Eligible for Colorado medical licensure
Compensation & Benefits:
* Guaranteed base salary of $515,000
