Position Highlights
Full-time Clinical Geneticist role within the Division of Genetic, Genomic, and Metabolic Disorders at Children's Hospital of Michigan, affiliated with Central Michigan University Outpatient genetics clinic coverage plus inpatient consultation service Collaborate with two board-certified Clinical Geneticist, one board-certified Medical Biochemical Geneticist, four advanced practice providers, six genetic counselors, two genetic counselor assistants, two RNs, one dietician, part time psychologist, and ancillary support staff Flexibility to define your balance of clinical and research responsibilities Teaching and supervisory responsibilities covering medical students, genetic counseling students, and pediatric residents On-site Cytogenetic/Molecular Laboratory directed by board-certified laboratory geneticists Specialty programs include: Lysosomal Storage Disease Clinic, Pediatric Enzyme Replacement Therapy, Inborn Errors of Metabolism, Pediatric Cancer Genetics Clinic, and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Clinic Close collaboration with the Wayne State University Genetic Counseling Graduate Program
