Job description
We are seeking a Metabolic Geneticist for a locum tenens position in Saint Louis, MO. This is a locums to perm opportunity. Please see below for more information.
- 195-bed pediatric hospital
- Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage biochemical and metabolic disorders
Provide inpatient consultations in the PICU, Level IV NICU, and pediatric ward
Care for a primarily pediatric patient population with occasional adult patients
Manage an average clinic census of 4-5 patients per day
Provide telehealth consultations for established patients unable to present to the clinic in person
Collaborate with genetic counselors, genetic nursing, and genetic counseling support staff on patient evaluation and management
Qualifications
Active Missouri medical license required
DEA required
Missouri BNDD required
BLS required
Working Hours
Night and weekend call required
