Job description
We are seeking a Metabolic Geneticist for a locum tenens position in Saint Louis, Missouri. This is a locums to perm opportunity at a pediatric hospital with an academic, hospital-based outpatient clinic. Please see below for more information.
- 195-bed facility
- Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage biochemical and metabolic disorders
• Provide inpatient consults in the PICU, NICU, and pediatric ward
• Apply advanced diagnostic skills in genetics with an emphasis on metabolic conditions
• Care for a primarily pediatric patient population with occasional adult genetics patients
• Collaborate with the genetics care team on patient evaluation and management
• Provide night and weekend call coverage
Qualifications
• Active Illinois medical license
• Active Missouri medical license
• DEA
• Missouri BNDD registration
• BLS
Working Hours
8-hour day shifts
Night and weekend call required
