Gastroenterologist Opportunity - Tarzana, CA
Full-Time | Permanent | Outpatient & Procedural Gastroenterology
Total Cash Compensation: $477,720 - $733,672 / year
Position Details
* Gastroenterologist opening joining an established, physician-led, and physician-owned medical group practice in Tarzana (San Fernando Valley), California
* Integrated network structure providing direct access to more than 100 primary care and 500 specialty care physicians for seamless patient referrals and care coordination
* Practice in a nationally recognized health network renowned for clinical quality, patient-centered care, and medical innovation
* Strong clinical and operational support allowing physicians to focus on patient relationships and clinical excellence
* Highly competitive total cash compensation model ranging from $477,720 to $733,672 annually, inclusive of incentive payments
Position Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive outpatient clinical evaluation, consultation, and long-term management for adult gastrointestinal and liver conditions
* Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including upper endoscopies (EGD), colonoscopies, and polypectomies
* Diagnose and manage acute and chronic digestive conditions such as GERD, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), liver disorders, and GI bleed evaluations
* Coordinate multidisciplinary clinical care in collaboration with primary care providers, colorectal surgeons, and regional oncology subspecialists
* Complete timely, accurate medical documentation and clinical chart reviews within the group’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Candidate Qualifications
* Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
* Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program
* Active, unrestricted California state medical license (or eligible to obtain)
* Valid DEA registration with full prescriptive authority
* Demonstrated clinical diagnostic acumen, procedural expertise, and commitment to collaborative, high-quality patient care
