Position Details
* Full-time Gastroenterologist opening serving a regional catchment area across Southeast Arkansas in Pine Bluff, AR
* Practice out of modern, dedicated endoscopy suites supported by experienced GI nurses, technicians, and anesthesia teams
* Balanced workflow blending outpatient clinical consultations, elective endoscopic procedures, and inpatient consultations
* Extensive built-in referral stream from regional primary care clinics and hospital services
* Cap-exempt/qualified for J-1 waiver and H-1B visa sponsorship

Position Responsibilities
* Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including upper endoscopies (EGD), colonoscopies, and polypectomies (ERCP/EUS skills welcome but not required)
* Evaluate and manage a broad range of GI conditions including GERD, IBD, chronic liver disease, and gastrointestinal bleeding
* Provide inpatient GI consults on a shared, manageable call schedule
* Partner with surgical services, oncology, and primary care teams to deliver comprehensive digestive healthcare
* Complete clinical notes and procedure logs promptly within the electronic medical records system
Candidate Qualifications
* Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
* Successful completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
* Active, unrestricted Arkansas medical license (or eligible to obtain)
* Valid DEA certification
* J-1 waiver and H-1B visa candidates are fully supported and encouraged to apply
