A growing hospital gastroenterology department in Des Moines, Iowa is seeking a GI Hospitalist with advanced therapeutic training.
Highlights:
• 7-on / 7-off schedule
• Consult-only service with APP support
• Integrated hospital endoscopy suite; non-emergent advanced therapeutic cases available
• In-house anesthesia, IR, cytopathology and colorectal surgery
• Covers two metro hospital campuses
• Teach internal medicine residents and medical students
Compensation & Benefits:
• Total compensation up to $750,000 (base plus call)
• $150,000 bonus
• $6,000 CME
• Paid malpractice; 403(b)

Job Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic and advanced therapeutic endoscopy (ERCP/EUS)
• Cover two metro hospital campuses during on-weeks
• Teach residents and medical students
Qualifications
• Advanced therapeutic endoscopy training
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (certification within 5 years)
• Iowa license
• Active DEA and BLS
• Clean malpractice preferred
