Start Date: 1/1/2027
End Date: 3/31/2027 with option to extend
Schedule:
Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
Night Call: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–7:00 AM;
Physician is on second call due to PA support. No PA coverage from 4:00 PM–8:00 PM, so the physician may receive additional calls during this time. The first 8 hrs of orientation are non- billable. Holiday is 1.4x
Optional Weekend Call: Friday at 3:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM - Weekend call begins Friday at 3:00 PM to account for the PA coverage gap - this is optional
**Minimum committment--weekend call or M-F
Responsibilities & Procedures:
Round each morning
Perform add-on cases as needed, typically finishing around 5:00 PM
Upper and lower endoscopies
Colonoscopies
General GI procedures
Requirements:
Board certification required in Gastro
Active Massachusetts (MA) license required
BLS required
DEA required
Minimum 1 year of experience
