Locum Physician – Gastroenterology Opportunity in Massachusetts
We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist for a Locum hospital-based GI opportunity in Massachusetts starting January 2027.
Position Details
- Start: January 1, 2027 | End: March 31, 2027 (option to extend) | ~13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
- Call: Night call Monday–Thursday 5:00 PM–7:00 AM (second call with PA support); optional weekend call Friday 3:00 PM–Monday 7:00 AM
- Minimum commitment: weekend call or Monday–Friday coverage
- Setting: Hospital-based GI — rounds, add-on cases, upper/lower endoscopy, colonoscopy, general GI procedures
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: approximately 90 days
Requirements
- MD/DO, Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active Massachusetts license, DEA, and BLS
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Name and NPI required for clearance
