Coverage Type: Scheduled Coverage – No Call
Practice Setting: Hospital / Inpatient GI Lab
EMR System: EPIC
Patient Population: Adults
Patients Per Day: 10–13 scopes
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Minimum of 1 week per month; potential for 3–4 weeks per month
- Coverage across multiple locations during the assigned week:
- 3 days at North
- 1 day at South
- 1 day at Plaza
Practice Details:
- General GI inpatient and outpatient procedures.
- APPs handle inpatient rounds; the physician may be asked to consult with patients for approximately 30–60 minutes per day, depending on census.
- Typically, 4 outpatients are scheduled in the morning and afternoon, with inpatients seen throughout the day.
- May have the opportunity to work 1–2 days per week in an outpatient clinic, seeing approximately 8–10 patients per day.
Licenses Required:
- Active Missouri and Kansas medical licenses
- IMLC candidates may be considered
- BLS
- ACLS
- DEA
Requirements:
- Board Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
