St. Francis-Emory Healthcare is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to launch and lead our new GI Hospitalist Program. Position Highlights:

• • 7 on/7 off schedule

• • Practice coordinated by APP support and ambulatory-focused provider
  • Focus exclusively on consults, procedures (inpatient and outpatient), and inpatient management
  • Dedicated support allowing physicians to practice at the top of their license

• • Comprehensive APP Support — our advanced practice providers assist with inpatient consults, follow-up care, care coordination, and discharge planning

• • Robust Procedural Practice

• • • High-volume endoscopy program — 3000 active patient base
    • ERCP opportunities available based on training and interest
    • Strong referral base from hospitalists, intensivists, oncology, surgery, and emergency medicine

• • Faculty appointment opportunities with the St. Francis Internal Medicine Residency Program and/or teach residents and participate in clinical education if desired

• Physician-Led Culture: direct access to hospital leadership; ability to help design workflows and establish best practices for a new service line; opportunity to influence program growth and future GI recruitment
