Aya Healthcare is seeking a Gastroenterologist for a 12-month Locum Tenens opportunity at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, KY. Start as soon as credentialed (approx. 3 months).
- Acute care hospital (Appalachian Regional Healthcare) in Prestonsburg, KY
- Average 12-14 procedures per day; EGD, colonoscopy and mid-level ERCP
- APP support provided; Meditech EMR
- Client strongly prefers one consistent provider but is open to two providers alternating weeks
Job Responsibilities
• Perform mid-level/moderate complexity ERCP (EUS and EMR not required)
• Average 12-14 procedures per day; clinic Monday-Friday
• Share off-site call (response within 30 min for emergency consults); Meditech EMR
Qualifications
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Willing to license (KY license required)
