Reason for Coverage: Supplemental staffing
Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Patient Volume: Approximately 12 patients per day
ERCP/EUS experience preferred
Coverage Schedule
Coverage dates:
March 28 – April 5, 2027
July 26 – August 1, 2027
August 28 – September 1, 2027
September 27 – October 1, 2027
November 24 – November 27, 2027
Pay on 1099:
Hourly Pay: $450/hr
Night Call: $500/hr
Call Back:$480/hr
Weekend 24-hour call: $3200 (4hrs gratis)
Clinical Responsibilities and Procedures The provider will perform gastroenterology procedures, including:
EGD and colonoscopy
pH studies and manometry
Sigmoidoscopy
PEG/PEG-J tube placement
Capsule endoscopy and hydrogen breath testing
ERCP/EUS experience preferred
The provider will be responsible for all charting, reviewing pathology results, and coordinating patient result letters and follow-up recommendations independently. No scribe or dedicated assistant will be provided.
Qualifications and Requirements
Active Michigan medical license required.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine – Gastroenterology.
Fellowship preferred.
Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS.
