Aya Healthcare is seeking a Gastroenterologist for a 12-month locum tenens assignment at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, KY. Start as soon as credentialed. Daily rate is inclusive of travel and lodging.
- Acute care hospital with APP support; virtual interviews with service line leadership
- 12-14 procedures per day including EGD, colonoscopy and ERCP
- Clinic Monday-Friday; offsite call shared with another provider
- Meditech EMR; pleasant and kind culture
Job Responsibilities
• Average 12-14 procedures per day; clinic Monday-Friday
• Share offsite call (1-2 call-ins per week, mostly active bleeds) with another provider
• APP support provided
Qualifications
• Kentucky license (will license)
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Meditech experience helpful
