Start Date: January 8, 2027
Duration: 13 weeks (Ongoing coverage)
Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Outpatient Procedures
Coverage Type: Procedures Only (Scheduled + No Call)
Patient Age Group: Adult
Patient Volume: Approximately 12–16 procedures per day
EMR: Epic
Schedule & Workload Structure:
- Work Schedule: 3 days per week (Ideally Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
- Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour standard shifts)
- Call Requirements: No call
- Block Scheduling: No
Clinical Responsibilities & Procedures:
- Upper Endoscopies
- Lower Endoscopies
- Colonoscopies
- Bread and Butter GI Procedures Only
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Gastroenterology
- Licensure: Active Massachusetts State Medical License required (Willing to license: No)
- Certifications: Active BLS required
- DEA: Required
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience
- Charting Experience: Epic experience required
