Job description

Job description Advanced GI locums coverage at a hospital in Duluth, MN, January 4 through January 25, 2027, with additional dates to follow. Pay is $4,160 per 8-hour weekday shift. The work is mostly inpatient and outpatient procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, flex sig) plus hospital service coverage, with 2 APCs supporting the team and no clinic. Weekend backup call is possible and is discussed before any shifts are confirmed. The client will consider part of the dates. Temporary privileges are available. Travel is covered.

Job Responsibilities

Perform inpatient and outpatient procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, flex sig, ERCP and EUS. Cover the hospital GI service and rounds on assigned patients. Work with 2 APCs. Chart in Epic. Weekend backup call is possible and is reviewed before confirmation.

Qualifications

Gastroenterology fellowship completed. Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology. Advanced endoscopy skills (ERCP and EUS). Minnesota license or an IMLC letter of qualification.

Working Hours

Weekdays, 8-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM, Monday January 4 through January 25, 2027. Partial dates considered. Further vacation coverage dates to follow.
