Job description
Locums Gastroenterology coverage in Missouri with a defined block schedule preference. Primarily need inpatient coverage but may be some outpatient work. Shifts run days with call, supporting adult GI coverage.
Highlights
- Preferred 14 on, 14 off coverage pattern, Monday through Sunday
- Mix of primarily inpatient and some outpatient GI work
- Established group support, 9 physicians and 3 mid-levels
- Average daily hospital census, about 23 patients
Practice Setting
- Medical setting includes both inpatient and some outpatient responsibilities
- Adult-only patient population
- Team environment with 9 physicians in the practice and 3 mid-levels
- Average of 23 hospital patients per day
Schedule
- Coverage needed Monday through Sunday
- Scheduled hours are 7a to 7p
- Call is included with the 7a to 7p shift coverage
- Preference for 14 on, 14 off blocks
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Missouri license required, will not wait for license
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
