Gastroenterology Opportunity - San Antonio, TX Position Details
- Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join the practice.
- San Antonio, TX, in the fastest-growing part of the metro
- Level III trauma center with 250 acute-care beds and about 11,000 adult admissions a year
- Advanced gastroenterology in a newly launched, employed GI group
- 7 on, 7 off inpatient schedule with 182 guaranteed shifts a year, no call
- Inpatient GI coverage, consults and advanced procedures (EUS, ERCP, POEM), with outpatient volume to follow
- About 5,000 GI consults a year from the general surgery group alone
- 2 dedicated advanced endoscopy labs performing about 240 procedures a month
- Dedicated APP support in clinic and inpatient
- Potential future outpatient endoscopy center joint venture
- About 900,000 regional catchment and a $300 million hospital expansion
