Assignment Details
Dates: November 1, 2026–ongoing; start subject to credentialing
Schedule: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; open to week-on/week-off coverage
Preferred weekly mix: 1 clinic day and 4 procedure days; flexible
Call: None
Coverage type: Clinic and scheduled procedures
Volume: Typically 10–14 procedures per day; clinic volume varies
Setting: Clinic and endoscopy suites
Support: APP, RN, MA, office staff, and experienced endoscopy teams
Anesthesia: Available on select days, depending on confirmed coverage dates
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Clinical Details
Required scope: Gastroenterology clinic, scheduled procedures, and APP supervision
Preferred scope: Upper endoscopy, colonoscopy with biopsy/polypectomy, GI bleeding interventions, PEG placement, esophageal dilation/manometry, and sigmoidoscopy
ERCP and EUS not required or performed onsite
Liver biopsy not required
Requirements
BC Gastroenterology required
Any state license accepted via Act 10 expedited pathway
ACLS and BLS
Active DEA
