Advanced Gastroenterologist | Westover Hills | San Antonio, TX Seeking a BC/BE Advanced Gastroenterologist to join a newly launched, employed GI group at Westover Hills — a Level III trauma center with 250 acute-care beds and approximately 11,000 adult admissions annually. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape a brand-new employed GI service line, transitioning from outsourced coverage to a dedicated internal model to capture massive existing demand, including roughly 5,000 annual GI consults generated by the general surgery group alone. ### Compensation & Benefits

• Schedule: 7-on / 7-off inpatient schedule with 182 guaranteed shifts per year; no call required
• Scope: Inpatient GI coverage, consults, and advanced procedures (EUS, ERCP, POEM) with future expansion into outpatient volume
• Facilities: 4 ORs, 1 general procedure room, 2 dedicated advanced GI endoscopy labs performing ~240 procedures per month; state-of-the-art Olympus scope technology
• Support Team: Dedicated APP support (1 clinic-focused, 1 supporting hospitalist team and follow-ups) plus specialized GI lab staff
• Referral Base: ~900,000 catchment area with a large PCP network and an aggressive goal to add 50+ PCPs over the next 2‚Äì3 years
• Growth: Phased rollout from inpatient coverage to a multi-physician practice with potential future joint-venture Outpatient Endoscopy Center development
• Strong on-campus synergy with Interventional Radiology, Texas Oncology, and specialized surgical groups

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Fellowship training in Advanced Gastroenterology (EUS/ERCP capabilities required)
