Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
Locum Tenens position with an ongoing schedule beginning January 1, 2027Expected patient volume of 14 procedures per shift
Board certification required at a minimum certified level with fellowship training required
ATLS and BLS certifications required
Perform upper GI endoscopy procedures including with biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery/laser fulguration, and injection of varices
Perform ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) both diagnostic and therapeutic
Perform PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) procedures
Perform esophageal dilatation, manometry, and esophageal manometry interpretation
Perform small bowel biopsy and lower GI endoscopy
Perform sigmoidoscopy (both flexible and rigid) and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
Perform endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and liver biopsy
Insertion and management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
