Opportunity:

DO;MD - Pediatric Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Provide outpatient clinic services at a multi-specialty pediatric clinic
  
• Provide inpatient consult coverage at a local hospital as needed
  
• Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month required, with preference given to providers who can work more
  
• APP support available in the outpatient setting
  
• No primary admitting responsibilities; patients are admitted by the pediatric hospitalist service
  
• On-call coverage expected daily when working for the team, running 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM the following day
  
• Perform procedures including Upper Endoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, and foreign body removal
  
• 8 clinic sessions per week with 2 procedure sessions per week
  
• Non-procedure days spent in clinic providing care with a mix of new and return patients
  
• Responsibilities include answering patient questions, responding to messages, reviewing results, communicating with the team, providing oversight and support to APPs, and developing evaluation and treatment care plans for pediatric patients
  
• Ideal candidate can commit to the same two weeks every month on an ongoing basis
