Full-time Gastroenterologist Locums Job | Norfolk, Virginia Area | January 18-25 + 1 Week/Month Ongoing

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility in the general Norfolk area that needs GI Hospitalist locums coverage starting the week of January 18 at 7AM - 25 at 7AM and ongoing through June 2027.

Coverage need:
* Initial stretch is 7AM 1/18 - 7am 1/25 (will likely have specific dates on an ongoing basis)
* Seeking candidates that can commit to a minimum of 1 week per month (consecutive Monday - Monday, 7-day stretch)
* Will be covering from 7A-5P in the hospital + night / weekend call coverage (call is 7A-7A)
* Client will prioritize candidates who are willing to include 10 hours of work in their rate Monday - Friday

Details for opportunity #117580:
- Active + unrestricted VA licensed candidates are required
- Must be actively Board Certified and/or truly Board Eligible
- Bread & butter GI
- Strongly prefer candidates who can do ERCP (NOT a requirement)
- Can anticipate between 20-25 PPD (this # includes 8-10 admissions each day)
- Can anticipate an average of 4 procedures per day
- No APP support on staff at this time
- Average of 1-2 callbacks per day after hours
- Epic EMR, 250 bed facility, not a designated trauma center
