A clinic in the Sedro-Woolley, Washington area needs a gastroenterologist for a 6 month locum assignment starting January 4, 2027. $425 an hour, $552.50 an hour overtime, and $637.50 an hour on holidays. Monday to Friday, 8 to 5, with no call.

Job Responsibilities

General gastroenterology for adult patients, about 16 a day, in a multispecialty building with OB, orthopedics, and general surgery on site. General GI endoscopy, such as colonoscopy and EGD, not advanced endoscopy. Privileges at both the clinic and the hospital. You will sometimes work solo, with another physician on site in the building. Epic EMR.

Qualifications

Documentation of GI services in the last 24 months, representative of the privileges you are requesting, waived if you finished training in the last year. ACLS, BLS, and moderate sedation certification. Epic proficiency. An active Washington license is highly preferred, and an IMLC letter of qualification in hand is fine. COVID vaccination required.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, 8-hour shifts. No call. January 4, 2027 start, 6 months.
