Job description
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a permanent position providing a combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital coverage. The practice is currently 100% adult and is looking for a physician comfortable with general, bread-and-butter Gastroenterology.
Practice Setting
- Permanent Gastroenterology position
- Combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient coverage
- Hospital rounding and clinic responsibilities
- 100% adult patient population
- Epic EMR
Schedule & Call
- Call required
- No more than 10 days of call per month
Patient Volume
- Position includes both clinic and hospital rounding
Clinical Responsibilities
- General / bread-and-butter Gastroenterology
- Outpatient clinic visits
- Inpatient rounding and GI consults
- Procedures based on physician preference
- No specific procedures are required
Procedural Flexibility
The practice is not requiring ERCP, EUS, or any other advanced procedure. Procedural responsibilities can be tailored based on the physician's interests and preferences.
Ideal Candidate
A Gastroenterologist seeking a permanent adult GI practice with a mix of clinic and inpatient responsibilities and flexibility regarding procedures. The practice is primarily looking for a physician comfortable with bread-and-butter Gastroenterology, rather than requiring an advanced procedural skill set.
