Job description
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive care for patients with diseases and disorders of the digestive system. The physician will provide diagnostic, procedural, consultation & outpatient services while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to support high quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities
Perform gastrointestinal procedures including colonoscopy & upper endoscopy
Evaluate & manage patients with conditions such as:
GERD
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Liver disease
Pancreatitis
Provide gastroenterology consultations
Provide outpatient gastrointestinal care
Develop appropriate diagnostic & treatment plans
Monitor patient progress & adjust treatment as clinically appropriate
Collaborate with surgical teams when necessary
Communicate clinical findings & treatment recommendations with patients and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate & timely medical documentation
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Strong clinical knowledge of gastrointestinal diseases & disorders
Experience performing gastrointestinal procedures, including colonoscopy & upper endoscopy
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient centered care
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
