She Recruits is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a respected regional healthcare organization seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a thriving, well-established Gastroenterology practice in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, evaluate, and treat a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders.
• Perform outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology consultations.
• Perform upper and lower endoscopic procedures.
• Perform advanced GI procedures based on training and experience.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Participate in a shared call rotation.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development.

Qualifications

Required

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for unrestricted Louisiana medical licensure
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
• Excellent communication and collaborative practice skills

Preferred

• ERCP training
• Experience with Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
• Interest in advanced endoscopy procedures
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care
