Job description
We are seeking a General Gastroenterologist to join our stable and successful medical group. This opportunity arises due to a retiring physician and the growth in the region. The role involves routine endoscopies, with ERCP and EUS being welcome but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine endoscopies.
- Participate in a 5-week rotation: 3 weeks of outpatient, 1 week in the endoscopy suite, and 1 week of inpatient.
- Perform hospital consults and weekend calls on a 1:12 rotation, shared with another local GI group.
- Weeknight call rotation is 1:5, covering just our group. Call is mild.
Support and Facilities
- Ample APP and office staff support.
- One outpatient office and rounds at one hospital.
- Group owns an outpatient GI endoscopy suite.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Massachusetts medical license required.
- Ideal candidates would speak Portuguese due to a large Portuguese-speaking population.
- Open to experienced professionals or new graduates.
