Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join an established GI practice in Southern Connecticut.
This is a full-time opportunity for a Gastroenterology physician looking to join a busy, well-supported program with strong patient demand, procedural volume, and a collaborative clinical team.
The incoming physician will provide comprehensive gastroenterology care, including outpatient clinic visits, GI consults, endoscopic procedures, and ongoing digestive health management.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage patients with digestive health conditions
• Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy
• Provide consultative GI services as needed
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, APPs, and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Support continued growth of the gastroenterology service line
Qualifications
• Active or eligible Connecticut medical license
• Strong endoscopy and colonoscopy skills
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work well in a collaborative employed practice setting
