Schedule: One week per month; Monday-Friday, 7:30a-4:00p
Practice Setting: Inpatient Consult Service and Outpatient Endoscopy
Patient Volume: Approximately 4-5 new inpatient consults per day
EMR: Epic
Licensing: BC Gastroenterology; NY license or ability to obtain
Required Skills: General Gastroenterology, EGD, colonoscopy, inpatient consults, and endoscopic procedures
Call: Weekend call begins Friday at noon through Sunday morning; no scheduled overnight call Monday-Thursday
Other Key Details: APP support for inpatient consultations, dedicated nursing staff, MAC anesthesia support for most procedures, and ongoing coverage need for approximately 9 months. Ideal for providers interested in recurring monthly coverage blocks.
