Seeking locum Gastroenterology coverage for inpatient consult services. ERCP and EUS are required to be considered.
- Setting: Inpatient (GI is consult service; does not admit)
- Trauma: Level 1 Trauma Center
- EMR: Epic
- Coverage reason: Gaps in coverage
- Patient population: Adult, geriatric, adolescent
- Volume (site reported): 8–10 new patients + follow-ups; ~5–8 scopes/day

ERCP

GI bleed coverage
Evaluation of GI problems
Qualifications
Gastroenterology fellowship (required)
ERCP + EUS (required — must be explicitly confirmed)
Active DEA (required for credentialing; transferred DEA may be considered, but provider must maintain the DEA for the full assignment duration)
Colorado license (highly preferred)
Clean malpractice/background (highly preferred; self-inquiry NPDB prioritized if included)
Ability to cover the dates listed + specify # shifts per month ongoing they can offer (required)
Working Hours
Night call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (offsite call)
Weekend coverage: Yes
On-call: Yes
Preference: 7-day stints preferred (not required going into 2027)
