🩺 Outpatient GI | Monday–Friday | No Call
- Outpatient Gastroenterology locum tenens opportunity
- Two coverage blocks available
- No call responsibilities
- Weekday schedule with flexible daily start/end times
- Approximately 14–16 procedures per day
- Dedicated support including CRNA, RN in each room, and GI tech
- Other gastroenterologists typically present onsite
- Epic EMR
- IMLC candidates will be considered
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform outpatient EGDs and colonoscopies
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures
- Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp removal
- Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
- Foreign body removal
- Management of GI bleeding with cautery/fulguration or injection
- Esophageal dilation
- Variceal injection
- Small bowel biopsy
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Esophageal manometry
- Provide appropriate pre- and post-procedure patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Schedule
October 12–16, 2026
December 28–31, 2026
Weekdays, with daily hours generally ranging from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch.
Call: None
Requirements
- MD/DO specializing in Gastroenterology
- Board Certified
- Active North Dakota medical license required
- IMLC candidates accepted
- Strong experience performing outpatient endoscopic procedures
- Comfortable managing approximately 14–16 procedures per day
