Work and play in a beautiful Washington State city, near the Canadian border. It’s a port for ferries to Alaska. East is Mount Baker, a huge snow-capped volcano with ski runs.
This physician position in Gastroenterology is based in an outpatient clinic setting with responsibilities spanning both inpatient and outpatient care. The provider will be part of a team supporting a busy practice with an average of 4 patients daily during the morning hours when on call. The position requires rounding, reviewing admissions, and performing procedures related to gastroenterology.

Job Responsibilities
Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient
# of beds- 253
Rounding admissions and procedures
Apprx patients per day 4 in the morning when on call M-F
Support staff: working w/ other GI's as part of the practice
EMR- EPIC
Qualifications
Board Certification in Gastroenterology
DEA certification
Certified in CPR/ACLS (if required by facility standards)
Teaching Hospital Experience
Trauma Level I Experience
Trauma Level II Experience
Working Hours
Call requirement 14 hospital shifts/month
24hr call w/ clinic assistance in the morning
