Job description
Gastroenterologist needed in the beautiful state of Oregon. Where you can play outdoors all year long. It is always green. The summers are warm with little or no humidity. The falls are colorful. Winters are wet, and sometimes it snows. When it does, it doesn’t stick for too long. Spring is budding and beautiful. Your outside activities are always on – never weather permitting!
Job Responsibilities
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures listed above.
• Conduct rounds, contribute to inpatient management, and perform procedures independently.
• Read and interpret capsule endoscopy and esophageal manometry results.
• Document all procedures and clinical activities thoroughly in EPIC EMR.
• Collaborate with other physicians and support staff in delivering patient care.
• Support quality and safety standards in clinical practice.
VOLUME | SUPPORT:
• Approximately 15 patients per day.
• Support staff and advanced GI technology available.
• No specific bed count or annual case volume provided.
• Office and hospital-based support teams are available.
Qualifications
• Advanced GI training from AHA or ARC required.
• Active medical license in Oregon or eligibility (specific license requirement not detailed).
• EMR: EPIC.
• Recent clinical practice evidence within the last 24 months demonstrating provision oflisted procedures.
Working Hours
• 8 hours per day, typically 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
• 5 days per week, outpatient procedures and clinic time
• No call or hospital admissions expected
• No minimum availability or flexible scheduling noted
