Setting: Inpatient / Hospital-based coverage only
Level 1 Trauma Center
No clinic responsibilities
ERCP and EUS Required.
Sept 6-10
Jan 2027 ongoing dates will be presented once these dates have been filled.
24-Hour Call : $4200
Call Back Rate: $450/hr
Provider must stay at one of the preferred hotels:

Schedule Details
:All shifts end the following morning at 7a.Sept 6-10
Jan 2027 ongoing dates will be presented once these dates have been filled.
Details:
- 24 hour call - 7a-7a
- Locums coverage is for 365 days a year.
- 7 day stints is preferred, not a requirement going into 2027 for all locums.
- Setting: Inpatient
- Level 1 Trauma
- Required Procedures/Job duties: Scoping, ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, GI Bleed, Evaluation of GI problems.
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Staff: None
- Reason for coverage: Gaps in coverage.
- Patient population: Adult, Geriatric, Adolescent
- Admissions, 8-10 new patients & follow ups. 5-8 scopes per day.
- 15 years old and 50 kilograms for a pediatric trauma. Otherwise, Pediatric patients are not admitted to the facility.
- GI does not admit they are just a consult service.
- 24/7 intensivists & hospitalists at site.
- 24/7 Trauma Services at site.
24-Hour Call : $4200
Call Back Rate: $450/hr
Requirements:
- Board Certified Gastroenterology – Required
- Active CO License preferred (IMLC accepted)
- Active DEA required
- Must be able to perform ERCP & EUS
- Candidates must provide availability for ongoing monthly coverage
- Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date
Credentialing:
- Standard timeframe: 60–90 days
- Emergency privileges: 1–2 weeks with a clean file
- NPDB Self Query required
- Pre-application and full application must be completed promptly
