Overview
A healthcare facility is seeking a Gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage. This opportunity combines outpatient clinic, endoscopy procedures, inpatient consults, rounding, and nightly call. (Job ID: 50506)

- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
- Weekday clinical coverage
- Combination of endoscopy and office-based Gastroenterology
- Endoscopy procedures performed throughout the week
- Nightly beeper call required
- Inpatient consults and hospital rounding
- 30-minute call response time
- Hospital privileges required
- Temporary privileges available
- EMR: Athena and Meditech
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Comfortable providing endoscopic procedures and outpatient GI care
- Comfortable with inpatient consultations and rounding
- Ability to provide nightly call coverage
- Must meet hospital privileging and credentialing requirements
