Job description
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens position in Media, Pennsylvania. This is an inpatient acute care opportunity covering hospital consults, inpatient endoscopy, and overnight call. Please see below for more information.
- Hospital Bed Size: 250
- EMR: Epic and Provation
Job Responsibilities
Perform inpatient endoscopy, including EGD and colonoscopy
Take overnight out-of-hospital call
See approximately 20 patients per day
Adult hospitalized patient population
Practice independently in an acute care hospital setting
Qualifications
Pennsylvania state medical license required
DEA required
Working Hours
Seven consecutive days of coverage, beginning Friday at 7:00 a.m. and ending the following Friday at 7:00 a.m.
24/7 call responsibility throughout the coverage block
Overnight call taken out of hospital
