Job description
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens position in Bellingham, Washington. This is an advanced endoscopy opportunity with a specific ERCP focus, spanning both inpatient hospital and outpatient clinic/endoscopy settings. Please see below for more information.

- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Perform ERCP and advanced therapeutic endoscopy procedures
Perform general gastroenterology procedures
Rounding and admissions responsibilities
Clinic coverage of approximately 16 patients per day
Outpatient endoscopy center coverage of approximately 14-16 patients per day
Inpatient hospital census varies
Care for an adult patient population (18+)
Maintain both clinic and hospital privileges
Qualifications
Washington state license required, IMLC accepted
ACLS required
ERCP and general gastroenterology procedural competency required
Documentation of gastroenterology services representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months (waived for applicants who completed training during the previous year)
ERCP maintenance: minimum of 50 successful ERCP procedures within the past 2 years; proctoring required for remaining cases if maintenance criteria are not met
Epic EMR experience required
Working Hours
5-day schedule, 8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Day, night, and weekend shifts
24-hour call/hospitalist shifts, weekday and weekend
Alternatively, 8-9 hour day shifts when in the ambulatory clinic/endoscopy setting
