Job description
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens position in Burlington, Vermont. This is a hospital-based opportunity with a consistent weekday day-shift schedule. Please see below for more information.
- Acute care hospital setting
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients presenting with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures within the scope of privileges granted
Respond to inpatient consultations and coordinate care with hospital-based teams
Provide on-call coverage as scheduled, including weekend coverage
Complete clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Qualifications
Active Vermont state medical license
Active DEA registration
Working Hours
Five shifts per week, up to 48 hours weekly
One-hour unpaid lunch
Call and weekend coverage required as needed
Provider is required to work two of the four winter holidays
