We are seeking a Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) to join a growing healthcare team in the Bronx, NY. New graduates are welcome to apply, making this an excellent opportunity for physicians completing their GI fellowship as well as experienced Gastroenterologists.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive gastroenterology care while working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive GI consultations and follow-up visits
• Diagnose and manage conditions involving the esophagus, stomach, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and intestines
• Perform appropriate GI procedures based on training and privileges
• Interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory results, imaging, and endoscopy findings
• Develop individualized treatment and management plans
• Provide patient and family education
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Provide continuity of care and appropriate follow-up
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Active or eligible New York medical license
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Working Hours
• Primarily Monday–Friday/daytime schedule
• Schedule may vary based on clinical and hospital needs
• Call responsibilities may apply depending on practice requirements
