Job description
Seeking a Locum Gastroenterology Physician (MD/DO) for inpatient coverage in Springfield, Oregon. The provider will manage adult patients in an inpatient setting, including rounding, new consultations, and GI procedures. ERCP experience is required.
Job Responsibilities
Perform daily rounding and evaluate new GI consultations
Perform GI procedures, including ERCP
Manage approximately 10 patients per day
Provide scheduled daytime coverage and participate in required night call
Collaborate with specialty consultants and outpatient GI colleagues as needed
Qualifications
ERCP experience required
Recent Gastroenterology clinical activity/case logs within the past 24 months
ACLS certification
Appropriate state licensure; licensing assistance may be considered depending on start date
Hospital privileges required
Working Hours
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
10-hour shifts
Night call required
Scheduled + on-call coverage
No block scheduling
