Job description Seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join an established medical staff and growing outpatient practice in Central Virginia. The beautiful town is known for its small-town charm, walkable downtown, outdoor recreation and its role as a regional center for education, business, and culture

This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician looking to build a busy practice with excellent procedural volume, strong APP support, and the autonomy to develop their own clinic while enjoying a balanced lifestyle.

The incoming gastroenterologist will have the opportunity to establish and manage their own outpatient clinic and schedule while serving a growing patient population throughout Central Virginia. The practice is designed to provide an excellent balance between outpatient continuity of care and inpatient consultative services, with approximately 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient responsibilities.

The Endoscopy Center is designed to maximize efficiency and physician productivity.

  • EUS and ERCP are not required, but welcome if one wishes to perform these procedures as the hospital can and will support both
